Laranjal Paulista is the largest toy producing center in Latin America, it is among the three largest in the world! An achievement its population is proud of, which generates economic development, employment and social well-being for the entire community. There are more than 30 factories manufacturing toys for the national and international market.

On May 29, 2020, it was recognized as a Local Productive Arrangement (Arranjo Produtivo Local) by the Bureau of State for Economic Development. On December 16, 2021, it was declared the Toy Capital of the State, through Law 17,474.
